IVA Promotion

IVA Promotion Details:                        Wednesday, June 2 9:00 Promotion  10:15 Yearbook Signing 

Promotion Details: The ceremony will take place outdoors on the blacktop at the rear of the school, near the playground.

Masks are required.

Due to safety concerns and space, we will be limiting the number of guests that may attend in person. It is preferred that each student invite two immediate family members as guests. However, we understand that family structures vary and each family may request an additional two tickets for a total of four. Siblings from Stonegate should not plan to attend.

We will be assigning seats using random selection, so there is no need to arrive early! Families should plan to arrive on campus no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. Students should plan to meet their teacher at the lunch benches at 8:00 to practice. Please RSVP to attend using this form by Friday, May 21. 

Adults will remain seated for the duration of the ceremony, so a  professional photographer will capture a picture of each student during the event. This photo will be made available to you digitally. The event will also be live streamed for any extended family who may wish to watch virtually. A link to the broadcast will be sent to you the week of promotion. 

After the ceremony, you will be invited to meet your student at the front of the campus, near the office. Light refreshments will be served “grab and go” style. 

Students are invited to remain on campus until 11:00 to participate in outdoor yearbook signing. Parents should not plan to remain on campus during the yearbook signing; this will be a student-only event. 

The following safety guidelines would be expected at the yearbook signing: 

• Students will wear masks and stay outdoors 
• Each student will have their own Sharpie marker 
• Students will place yearbooks on the lunch benches and then they will rotate around the lunch benches remaining socially distanced 
• The lunch benches have already been measured for distance and there are stickers that show where yearbooks will be placed to keep them six feet apart
